Cranswick Pet Products in Lincolnshire is looking for Packing Operatives. You will be reporting to the Shift Manager, this role is responsible for packing processed (extruded) animal food, safely, to the required finished standard, as effectively as possible.4ON 4OFF DAYS AND NIGHTS.

Main Duties:
Running a packing line incl. product feed, bagging, technical checks and recording palletization so that the finished product can be transfer to warehouse via FLT
Creating stock (finished product and WIP) on CEMEX (stock system)
Capture, segregation, and transfer of waste for rework
Clean as you go, and wider site cleaning as and when required
Requirements, Experience and Person Specification:
Manufacturing background. Preferably in food, pet food or FMCG
Food Safety L2
Awareness of BRC
IOSH Working Safely
Some awareness of CI tools and techniques
Can do attitude. Seeks a solution
Honest and empathetic with a sense of perspective
Team player. We win together and lose together
Open to change and willing to learnKey deliverables expected are:
You leave work in the same condition you arrive
You pack and palletize safe product for our customers, right first time, in a clean and controlled environment
You achieve the above, at the lowest possible cost by reducing waste, running the asset at the required speed, using your training and experience to resolve asset issues, and effectively escalating downtime for resolution by shift engineers
You work well with your peers and under the direction of the Shift Manager and the Lead Operative Packing, to undertake the above, and any other duties commensurate with the roleAdditional Information:
