We pride ourselves on our supportive staff teams, engaging curriculums, and strong community partnerships.Job Description We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistants (SEN LSA) to join our dedicated teams. The successful candidates will provide essential support to students with special educational needs, working closely with teachers and other staff to ensure an inclusive and positive learning experience for all pupils.Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities that meet the individual needs of SEN students.Support the development of students' social, emotional, and academic skills.Collaborate with teachers to create and implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs).Monitor and report on student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers, parents, and external agencies as required.Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.Assist with the use of specialized equipment and resources where necessary.Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities. Requirements Relevant qualifications and/or experience as a Learning Support Assistant, particularly within SEN.Experience working with students with a range of special educational needs in a school setting.Strong understanding of effective support strategies for SEN students.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
