Our culture is one where everyone is welcome. Job description: Treasury Analyst Due to an internal move, we are recruiting for a Treasury Analyst to join our team on a 6-month FTC. Working as part of the Treasury team based at our Manchester shared service centre (PBS). You will initially be responsible for ensuring that the company accounts and banking processes are maintained and ensuring that the funds are correctly allocated on a day-to-day basis. As the department evolves, as part of the Groups Treasury Roadmap, we have implemented a Treasury system and began automating cash allocation and all roles will take on different responsibilities as part of this change To excel in this role, you'll need to be an enthusiastic team player, willing to learn and self-confident. The Role... Ensure Bank Statement data is downloaded from the banking online systems and uplifted into SAP system daily and reconciled to bank accounts. Daily responsibilities include banking system (Chaps and Bacs) payments, etc Completion of Bank reconciliations within timescales. Analysis and investigation of queries arising and liaise with businesses to resolve within agreed timescales. Support the treasury management team in delivering key objectives Assist in the set up and review of procedures in respect of automating systems and processes. Monitor bank accounts and improve forecast accuracy on cash flow forecasting and systems. Manage the administration associated with foreign currency purchases Completion of work to required standard, ensuring accuracy and quality The Requirements Previous Treasury/ Finance experience is essential Experienced in posting journals and balance sheet reconciliations, uploading bank statements and running them in SAP Excellent Excel skills As a Treasury Analyst, your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and strong communication skills are crucial.
