At Prospero Teaching, we are looking for tutors to work with Local Authorities within Newcastle and the surrounding area.
We work mainly with Local Authorities and students who are often experiencing a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The ideal candidate will have experience working with these difficulties. Due to these difficulties, you will be working with young people who have become disengaged with education and need additional support and patience to help them on their educational journey.
The successful candidate will be good at working independently when tutoring off site therefore it is vital that they are organised, punctual and reliable, we have grown through or reputation so it is essential that this continues.
About the role:
In person
Starts as soon as possible
Full time/part time
GBP25 - GBP30 depending on qualifications and experience
The ideal candidate will have:
QTS or equivalent
Tutoring experience
Patient, empathetic and creative
Experience working with SEMH & SEN
Essential for the role:
A valid Right to Work
An Enhanced Childrens DBS on the update service, or the ability to complete one
A minimum of two references to cover the last two years of employment
