£70,000 – £80,000 per annum + 20% Bonus + great benefits
Talent Drive are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s most iconic brands who are looking for a new Procurement Manager – Strategy & Delivery to play a leading role in tracking and project managing the delivery of the companies targets whilst delivering key initiatives on behalf the Procurement Leadership. You will be operating as an internal procurement consultant to assist with the wider business to achieve overall savings targets.
This role will also be co-developing and tracking the implementation of a range of strategic and transformation projects across indirect procurement which includes supporting the continued improvement and implementation of ways of working, governance and communications across the procurement group.
The business has excelled over the last 4 years by creating an excellent procurement team which will give you exposure to some of the most complex and largest categories spends for a business in the UK. What the role involves:
- Tracking and recording progress in the delivery of indirect procurement cost reduction program – supporting the regular reporting processes
- Undertaking analysis related to pipeline management as required and working closely with all category, regional and subsidiary teams to develop the pipeline, as well as understand how they are progressing against targets and continuing to iterate pipelines
- Delivering on the strategic priorities of the Procurement function across a range of activities
- Ensure the teams are following processes, governance and methodologies put into place and challenging those that aren’t.
The person we hope to find:
- Ability to influence and engage senior colleagues across the business
- Experience across procurement transformation / process improvement / working on strategic projects
- Experience of working within a large-scale Transformation programme
- Excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, alongside proven team working approach
