Tax Manager

Job Title: Tax Manager (FTC, 6-9 months, Immediate Start) Location: London We are urgently seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team on a 6-9 month Fixed-Term Contract with an immediate start. This role is essential to support our growing business, particularly in the oil and gas sector, offering an excellent opportunity to work across a wide range of tax responsibilities with international exposure. The role requires 4 days per week on-site to closely collaborate with the team and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive tax support across the business, ensuring queries are handled effectively and identifying opportunities for tax savings and risk management. Offer expert tax advice on key business transactions and investment decisions. Manage and coordinate the preparation and submission of UK corporate tax returns, Corporate Interest Restriction returns, and other corporate tax provisions. Lead the preparation and compliance with Domestic and Multinational Top-Up taxes (OECD BEPS). Support the international business units and projects with tax compliance and advisory functions. Oversee the implementation and management of tax functionality in systems such as SAP, focusing on gas, oil, power, and LNG operations. Collaborate with HR on employment tax matters as needed. Manage relationships with global tax authorities and external advisors. Requirements: Professional tax qualifications (ACA, CA, ACCA, CTA) are essential. Extensive experience in the oil and gas sector is required. Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation, including compliance with transfer pricing regulations. Experience managing tax functionality within ERP systems, especially SAP. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to handle large data sets and ensure accurate tax compliance reporting. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities flexibly. Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders across different levels of the business.Immediate availability is a must for this role, with 4 days on-site required.
