M&A Analyst / Financial Modeller – Infrastructure TeamThe BusinessMy client is a leading mid market corporate finance advisor that provides M&A and Debt Advice to their clients in the UK & Europe.The firm has just hired a highly respected senior investment banking professional with a proven track record of originating, executing and managing mid-market infrastructure and renewable projects.The Role This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of an entrepreneurial and exciting team at the Analyst level with 2 - 3 years of Financial Modelling experience.You will be someone who wants to be at the heart of the transaction, working on the deal rather than briefing someone else. Experience and deep knowledge of financial project modelling is key to this role. ResponsibilitiesProducing company valuations, financial modelling, preparation of materials for both client and internal presentationAttending client meetings and presentations, preparing financial requests from clients and work with third party advisorsAnalysis for investment opportunities by market, segment or sector.Preparation of statistical analysis of fund performance.Work as a team to get the required results Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceMinimum 2-3 years relevant work experience within from a modelling team is key. Proven financial modelling experience with some debt sculpting and debt sizing with excellent client presentation. Excellent quantitative skills with highly developed financial modelling skills.Self-starter with a pro-active attitude towards the responsibilities assigned.A team player who is flexible and can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance in demanding/time-sensitive initiatives
