Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Demolition

Location: Midlands-based, Hybrid working

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum plus vehicle

Job Type: Full-Time

Are you a motivated and eager Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS) looking for your next role in the Demolition division? We are working with a client who is seeking someone just like yourself! This role does not require previous demolition experience but it does require a couple of years of quantity surveying or other relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans.
• Conduct site visits and assessments.
• Support the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and report on cost and progress to management.

Requirements:

• A couple of years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or a related field.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide one day a week and stay away from home as required.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
