Salary: Open to discussion based on experience Overview: We are transforming sports gaming with an innovative, social, free-to-play platform that caters to a wide range of sports enthusiasts. Our flagship product is a social sportsbook that combines sweepstakes promotions and rewards, offering an engaging alternative to traditional gaming. Responsibilities: Optimize backend systems for top performance, scalability, and reliability. Architect solutions to handle high traffic volumes efficiently. Design, develop, and maintain scalable distributed systems using Python and Django. Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features. Create and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure quality and stability. Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews. Experience Required: 7+ years of software development experience. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices. Expertise in distributed systems and microservices. Proficient in Python and Django. Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in production environments. Experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
