My client are seeking a dedicated and experienced HHSRS Surveyor who will be responsible for managing and improving property standards and maintaining accurate data and determine scope of works required around stock condition and EPC data. Client Details My client are a Housing Provider in London with a great team across Property Services and Assets. Description As the HHSRS Surveyor, you will be: Conducting Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) inspections and assessments on a range of properties. Ensuring that properties are fit for habitation and that emerging new standards are considered during programming in line with the responsibilities of HHSRS, making sure properties are free from Category 1 hazards and high category 2 hazards Preparing detailed reports outlining property conditions, risks and required improvements. Responsible for the effective collection of data relating to HHSRS and the assessment/rating of stock. Responsible for diagnosing the cause of defects relating to fabric and building failure of domestic dwellings. Assist with gathering property energy assessments information relevant to EPC grading. Liaising with tenants, landlords, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with housing standards. Managing a property portfolio and ensuring all properties meet regulatory requirements. Developing and implementing strategies for property maintenance and improvement. Conducting regular training sessions for staff on HHSRS regulations and industry best practices. Collaborating with other departments to enhance property management processes. Keeping up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry trends.Profile The successful HHSRS Surveyor should have: A degree in Building Surveying / Construction or relevant experience. Comprehensive knowledge of HHSRS and relevant regulations. Accredited HHSRS Assessor qualification and inspection experience. A track record of managing property portfolios. Ability to analyse and report on property conditions. Proficiency in managing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Sound knowledge of the Building Regulations, Disabled Access, Fire, CDM and Health & Safety legislation.
