Nursing Home Manager
Salary: Up to £65,000, depending on experience and qualifications
We are currently looking for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to provide strong leadership and guidance to our client's care home staff team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering person-centred care, meeting regulatory standards, and maintaining high levels of support. As a Nursing Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the home's budget, ensuring full occupancy, and fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.
Qualifications Current registration as a Nurse (RGN or RMN) with proven experience in managing and leading a care home
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in care for older adults
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
Dedication to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace
Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities Providing strong leadership and guidance to the home's staff team while promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy
Recruiting, training, motivating, and retaining a team of skilled care professionals dedicated to delivering person-centred care
Ensuring the home complies with all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and upholds excellent standards of care and support
Managing the home's budget effectively and meeting financial targets
Developing and executing a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services
Cultivating and nurturing positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders while addressing their needs and concerns
Supervising all records to ensure the home's administrative tasks are completed promptly and efficiently
Continuously assessing and evaluating the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement, and making necessary changes
Effectively managing and mitigating risks to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents and staff
