Religious Education Teacher

Position – Religious Education Teacher Start Date – October 2024 Location - Canterbury Pay - £31,650-£49,084 (MPS1 - UPS3) Do you have experience as a teacher of Religious Education? Are you passionate about teaching children about different world cultures and ideals? An exciting job opportunity has become available at a secondary school in Canterbury for a teacher of Religious Education, with the school looking for someone who can start in October 2024. The school has a history of producing fantastic exam results across the years. They have recently been rated ‘good’ in their Ofsted inspection, and they are looking to get back to an outstanding rating in the coming years. Successful candidates will need to be available full-time, working from 8:30-3:30. We are looking for someone who: • Has recent experience teaching Religious Education. • Has the ability to control and manage a classroom. • Has excellent knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Curriculum. • Can promote cultural development. • Has great communication and lesson delivery skills. • Can prepare and plan lessons in advance.
