Merchandise Director

dSb is partnering with this established retailer who is seeking a Merchandise Director to develop and implement the business strategy to continue build on the company's growth and success, whilst defining a clear vision for the future. Key responsibilities: Define the range strategy looking at pricing architecture to ensure they're in line with customer needs Manage inbound and outbound stock flow and resolve supply chain issues Manage the supply base to ensure effective distribution of stock Working with wider teams, managing new season and phase and promotional launches are executed correctly Develop, coach and implement succession planning for your merchandising team Requirements: Background in a high street or trading retailer within the UK fashion sector A proven track background as a leader at Head of Merchandising or Merchandise Director level Strong trading mentality to achieve profit Excellent leadership and relationship building skills Enjoy working in a constantly evolving and seasonal demanding retailer This role is full-time and office based so candidates need to be accessible to their head office.
