SEND Teaching Assistant Mainstream primary school One to oneImmediate Start£90 - £95 per dayWe are working with an Ofsted outstanding Primary School in Newham who are looking for x4 teaching assistants to support their SEND provision, there are 7 students in this class displaying complex needs, autism, speech and language difficulties and behaviour challenges such as social, emotional and mental health. It is a very supportive set up with a class teacher, SENCo as well as SALTs and Educational Psychologists on site and all children have an EHCP in place. This could be suitable for people who have: Experience with Primary aged children Experience with SEND such as ASC, SLCN and SEMH Previously worked 1:1 or 2:1 with children that display these needs De-Escalation or Positive Behaviour Training is desired. Graduates in Primary Education, Early Years, Education, Psychology, Criminology or Counselling Youth workers Knowledge of PECs, Makaton, EHCPs and safeguarding policies.
