Tool Room Supervisor
Salary £46,500
Location Norfolk
Working Hours Full time, Monday - Friday 37.5 hours a week
Are you ready to join a dynamic team within a face paced engineering environment?
ISQ Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Tool Room Supervisor to join our well respected client based just north of Norwich.
You will be responsible for the management of tool care ensuring effective utilisation of of resources to ensure the business continuously meets and exceeds customers expectations
This is your chance to take the lead, ensuring the highest safety and performance standards whilst pushing continuous improvement within the department
Main Responsibilities
Health & Safety: Manage Health & Safety Issues for the department, Lead the team with a zero-accident mentality, ensuring compliance with all safety procedures. Ensuring correct use of PPE
Team Leadership: Leading from the front with hands on capabilities in installing, maintaining, repairing, refurbishing/modifying tools
Tool Room Management: Organising and leading the tool room, planning tool changes, maintenance and repairs whilst identifying all forms of waste reduction.

- A strong background in Mechanical, Electrical or precision engineering, ideally in tooling
- Problem solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Formal Health & Safety training (IOSH/NEBOSH).
