Marketing Planning Manager

Our client is a well-known building society with headquarters in Swindon; As one of the largest savings and mortgage providers in the UK, 15 million members are at the heart of everything they do. On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Marketing Planning Manager for a 6-month contract based in Swindon (occasional travel to the office). Purpose of the Role: As a Marketing Planning Manager you will join our clients Marketing Planning Centre of Excellence. As part of the Customer Brand & Engagement community, you'll work with our clients Personalisation & Performance Marketing Team to develop marketing plans that align with customer needs and drive commercial, customer, and brand engagement. As a Marketing Planning Manager you will be responsible for: Partnering with retail product and marketing teams to design effective marketing plans. Building relationships with stakeholders to understand commercial, market, and customer insights. Collaborating with teams to deliver personalised customer communications. Measuring marketing effectiveness and forecast future activities. Identifying and address potential barriers like prioritisation, resource, or budget issues. What we require from the candidate: Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills. Marketing experience, ideally in financial services or campaign environments. Exceptional organisational skills, with a focus on prioritising tasks. A team player with a proactive, solutions-driven approach. Ability to align marketing strategies with a 'customer-first' mindset.
