Erl Deliveries Ltd is a small business based in Bolton. We deliver on behalf of one of the largest electrical retailers in the UK. We are professional, fast-paced and challenging.

7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver: Duties

• Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to customers
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle

7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver: Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a 7.5-tonne entitlement
• Category C1 License (required)
• Driver CPC Hours (required)
• Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred: 7.5t Driving: 1 year (required)
• Customer Service: 1 year (required)
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks up to 150kg related to loading and unloading
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
• Strong communication and customer service skills are a must due to the nature of the role.
• Ability to work in a team to provide the best solutions for our customers.
