Role: Principal Designer Location: Manchester Salary: £45,000 £55,000 DOE + attractive benefits package Sector: Property & Construction Consultancy Are you an experienced Principal Designer passionate about construction safety and CDM regulations ? Join a dynamic consultancy at the forefront of construction health and safety across projects in the UK. Responsibilities: Act as the Principal Designer under CDM 2015 regulations , ensuring design compliance and safety for construction and end-use. Identify, manage, and eliminate potential design risks and hazards across multiple construction projects. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to drive best practices and maintain a high standard of construction safety. Lead CDM coordination, pre-construction health and safety assessments, and risk reviews. Provide expert CDM advice to clients, contractors, and stakeholders, championing health and safety throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience in a Principal Designer role or related construction safety position An understanding of CDM 2015 regulations . NEBOSH Construction Certificate or IOSH qualification are highly preferred.
