Job Description
Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Document Controller to work at our customers site in Birmingham on a contract basis.
Takes responsibility for the control and delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios. Monitor, review and report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements defined in the Project Management Plan and agreed with the Project Sponsor and Project Manager
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Effective delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios. Report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements of the project. Manage and report variances to project baseline and report project Key Performance Indicators. Review project data, identify and report trends, highlight anomalies and propose corrective action if performance is outside specification. Ensure effective controls are implemented in accordance with the company management procedures to achieve the project success criteria. Accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders in accordance with the defined timescales. Facilitated and manage risk and opportunity activities.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
Experience:
Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience. Member of a professional body and working towards a APMP qualification or equivalent. Working towards APMP / PMI qualification or equivalent (or assessed as possessing equivalent knowledge / experience to the same standard). Experience in the development and / or implementation of project management processes and lifecycle, and a good knowledge of the project control processes.
