Mechanical Test Engineer

Mechanical Test Engineer Doctor Air Brake is a manufacturer/supplier of Safety systems & Test equipment used on Heavy Trucks/Trailers and established for over 30 years, manufacturing our in house designed products, sold all around the world. We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer, for a long-term testing and validation project on our electronic brake products. You will either be a post graduate or currently studying with a desire to excel in automotive engineering. Or if coming from an existing background of automotive testing and compliance, then this would be a perfect fit. We can train any enthusiastic engineer who has an analytical mind set and proven automotive engineering experience. Joining our small team based at Coven, Staffs. You will be conducting structured brake tests on vehicles, producing reports, Product FMEA’s and compiling evidence to support submission to regulatory bodies, both here & overseas. You will also be managing and updating technical engineering drawings and training documentation to be compliant with ISO9001 & VCA audits. Hours of work are 9:00am- 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Job Type: Full-time (Flexi-time available for students) Salary: £25,000-£35,000 p.a.
