Class 1 Driver

Responsibilities: - Safely operate a commercial vehicle, flatbed, to transport goods, large bagged, dry aggregate materials for the building trade. 3/4 loads a day Temporary cover commencing ASAP Potential for on going work Monday to Friday 06:00 start, guaranteed 10 hours a day - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Secure the load - Daily vehicle checks - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption - Communicate with transport and customers to coordinate delivery schedules -hours of work 06:00 start Monday to Friday. Guaranteed 10 hours pay a day 2 hour paid driving assessment before commencing work Skills: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, with minimum 1 years experience - Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver - Commercial driving experience preferred - Ability to operate a flatbed truck is a plus - Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations - Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines - PPE Safety footwear and Hi vis and hard hat desirable - Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other team members Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
