Associate, Financial Services Regulatory - (2-5 PQE)

Exciting Associate opportunity at a highly-reputable London-based law firm with one of the largest financial regulation practices in the UK!

My client has seen numerous commendations over many years, more recently having experienced success at the prestigious British Legal Awards due to their revenue growth, as well as transformative sustainability strategy, progressive people-first initiative, its significant sector growth, and its client-centred approach. The company’s internal progression and development schemes have also resulted in over 30 lawyers now being ranked as “Leading Individuals” by Legal 500, making it a brilliant place to develop your career.

After recently bringing on a new partner, my client is now looking to build out their Financial Services Regulatory team even further. They are searching for a legal professional to join their well-regarded retail financial services sector, advising banks, building societies and specialist lenders on regulatory matters.

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Support and develop the retail financial services practice
• Provide strategic and commercial legal advice across a range of financial regulation matters
• Provide support, coaching and guidance to members of the team and supporting the junior lawyers
• Actively engage in business development activities with clients and potential clients

Ideally you will have:

• 2-5 years post qualified experience
• Experience in retail financial regulation at a well-regarded private practice
• Have at least a 2.1 degree and have received training from a reputable source
