Air and Ocean Export Coordinator

Role Purpose:To control Air Freight accounts on a start to finish basis, and develop excellent customer relationships through the delivery of consistent and high-quality service.Position Specification:Manages all bookings from start to finish for allocated customersDevelops relationship with allocated customersIssues booking instructions to overseas officesProcesses Export bookingsAccepts all orders (from customer or overseas office) and assumes full responsibility for their successful completion from door to door.Proactively informs the customer on shipment status, exceptions and provides intermediate updates on incident solutionProcesses UK Customs ClearanceManages any other site involved in a shipmentDevelops processes and tools to support customer interface and communicationsTakes and handles customer inquiriesTakes and registers all customer complaints and drives solution of customer complaints by solving it directly or assigning tasks to other functionEnsures correct on time billing to the customer and accrualsHas full responsibility for end-end file handling.Key SkillsStrong background in Air Freight Forwarding export is advantageousInstinctive Customer Service ethicA 'get the job done attitudeThoroughly embedded knowledge of start to finish Air Freight process Results driven and good attention to detailGood written and spoken EnglishGood interpersonal skillsAbility to build relationships with customersAble to prioritise, perform under pressure and work using own initiative.PackageSalary Range - 30-40k + Annual BonusHoliday - 25 days + Bank Holidays
