Regional Maintenance Engineer |Crawley | Full Time | £35,000 - £37,000 depending on experienceOur client is looking to recruit a dynamic Regional Maintenance Engineer to join the team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs, proactive maintenance tasks and also regular inspections/audits across an allocated number of stores within your dedicated region (one of the above).Your visits will be scheduled on a rotation basis and you will also be required to attend the stores for emergency reactive visits to meet with client SLAs.You will be provided with a specifically designed van to hold and manage your maintenance stock and you will be required to provide daily reports to head office via our bespoke reporting tool.You will deliver exceptional customer service and support the Account Delivery Team.Are you the right person for the job?Electricians 18th Edition certification. ECS accredited. 2 years minimum Electrical & Plumbing experience is essentialExperienced in completing trade-specific tasks including Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Minor brickwork, Minor internal repairsExcellent communication skillsAn ability to work well under pressureGood verbal and written communication skills. Relevant technical knowledgeProblem-solving skillsEfficiency and organisationTeamworking skillsClean valid UK Driving LicenceWhat will your role look like?Visiting retail properties to carry out repairs & maintenance as per the schedule arranged for that dayCarry out basic plumbing (fixing leaks and changing taps/waste)Carry out basic electrics (changing bulbs/fittings, replacing switches or sockets)Carry out basic carpentry (changing locks, handles)Carry out basic painting and decorationsCarry out basic handyman servicesUpdate jobs via portal ensuring audits are thorough and good-quality pictures are takenWhere jobs are to be quoted, to provide a report with the materials needed, and time needed to carry out the further repairs along with a description of the issueWhat can you expect in return?20 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysEnjoy your birthday as an extra days holidayWhats next?
