Warehouse Operative

Our client is one of the UK's leading bakery manufacturers with over 130 years of baking experience that make up their iconic and much-loved brands. They produce bread and bakery products, delivering around 1.3 million loaves, every day of the week throughout the UK and Ireland. We are looking for experienced Warehouse Operatives for our client's Avonmouth site on an ongoing Temp basis, with an opportunity to go perm. Key Info: Position: Warehouse Operative Location: Avonmouth, BS11 8DQ Pay rate: £13.82 per hour Days/hours of Work: 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off. Hours can be 14:00-01:00 or 15:00-02:00 or 16:00-03:00 Contract: Temp with opportunity for Perm Start Date: ASAP Full paid training Instant access to Blue Arrow training portal Auto enrolment in pension scheme Job progression into other areas of the factory 28 days paid holiday We will support you to gain your Level 2 food & hygiene. Your responsibilities: Picking goods and preparing for Despatch Use of Warehouse Management System Ensuring any necessary documentation is correct and up-to-date Working at fast-pace to set targets and time framesYou'll need to be someone who is: Experienced in fast-paced warehouse roles including picking and packing - preferably with at last 3 months experience Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner Able to work quickly and accurately Happy working in a hot, loud environment Have the ability to support other roles when required Must be a flexible worker, available for some weekends Able to travel to site for the shift times requiredApplication Requirements: Proof of Right to work - Passport, Share code or Birth Certificate Proof of National Insurance - NI Card, payslip or P45/P60 1 years referencing details (Blue Arrow will apply for these) Candidates are required to undertake A Food Hygiene test at home prior to induction Please apply today with your up to date CV and if successful one of the Hovis Resourcing Team will be in touch to discuss your application.
