We are looking to hire a Business Developer as part of our EU Commercial Team.This person will be responsible for recruiting European Shippers to ourservice, owning and growing Shipper engagements, and ensuring a great Shipperexperience. The successful candidate will be results driven, highlyanalytical, Customer Obsessed, and ready to roll up their sleeves to grow thisbusiness. Key job responsibilities - Recruiting new potential customers to use our products and services - Identify new segments and unlock new customer base with best-in-classservice. - Maintain a high level of engagement from our *Customer* and proactivelyidentify the challenges they are facing. - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the portfolio. - Be the voice of the customer (Shipper) to guide product development anditerations. - Identify and lead new projects or initiatives to solve customer pain pointsand improve shipper experience. A day in the life We are looking to hire a Business Developer, responsible for unlocking andgrowing our portfolios through sales development, relationship building,engagement activities and great customershipper experience. The successful candidate will analyze market data to identifytrendsopportunities, utilize an extensive network of relationships within therelevant industry to gather market intelligence, and execute on businessdevelopment opportunities. About the team Amazon Freight (AF) is a B2B start-up within Amazon Transportation Services inEurope. Amazon Freight allows external businesses (shippers) to use Amazon’stransportation technology and network to transport products in bulk acrossEurope. This is an innovative technology-driven solution for the logisticsneeds of small and large businesses and is scaling rapidly as an offering. This role sits within the Business Development team, part of Amazon FreightCommercial team. Focusing on new customer acquisition in the UK market, ourBusiness Developer is expected to attract new businesses, tailor our productto customers needs and close business deals with needle-moving shippers forAmazon Freight. ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelors degree or equivalent - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience in business development, partner development, sales or alliancesmanagement - Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in online advertising or high-tech productsservices - Another European language Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
