LAW Absolute is recruiting an interim banking and finance lawyer to join the in-house team of a large bank.
Working as part of a large team, your remit will be to sit as part of the transactional team, advising around loans and lending across the UK and Europe. It will involve negotiating and drafting contracts that will deliver loans to corporate borrowers within the relevant regulations.
Applicants will need to have excellent communication skills and an ability to manage multiple transactions at one time. In order to work autonomously within the role, candidates must be qualified lawyers, with at least five years of UK work experience gained within top tier practice firms, corporate banks or other financial institutions. A strong technical skill set is essential, and any experience of leveraged or acquisition finance will be an advantage.
The role will initially be offered on a three month contract but is liable to extend beyond this period. It offers hybrid working and is looking for someone to start in September.
Pay rate- £400.00 - £750.00 per day
