About the role: Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Food Technology that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs. Create detailed lesson plans that incorporate hands-on activities, ensuring a balanced approach to theory and practice. Foster a passion for food science and culinary skills through interactive lessons and exciting projects. Organize and maintain kitchen facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and well-prepared environment for practical lessons. Build meaningful relationships with students, offering guidance and encouragement to help them reach their full potential. Ensure all food preparation and cooking activities adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe learning environment. The ideal candidate must: Have the right to work within the UK Have experience working within a classroom DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments Good subject knowledge of DT curriculum Have strong classroom management skills.
