Technical Agile Project Manager

Location: Northampton

Salary: Up to £90,000 + 20% Bonus + Private Medical + 10% Pension


Are you an experienced Agile Project Manager ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role within a global financial institution? We are looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as a Technical Agile Project Manager (VP). You will have the opportunity to support a range of complex projects and programmes, working closely with senior stakeholders across business, operations, and technology. Your role will involve leading agile feature teams, coaching others in agile practices, and ensuring successful project delivery across a complex estate.


Key Responsibilities:

• Set up agile feature teams across projects and programmes.

• Lead Scrum ceremonies (daily scrums, sprint demos, retrospectives).

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Solution Architects to manage and refine backlogs.

• Guide and mentor team members to increase productivity and build agile capabilities.

• Develop agile delivery metrics to track progress and remove blockers.

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Director-level colleagues.

• Drive planning and forecasting to prepare the business for change.

• Promote continuous improvement and ensure projects are closed in line with governance processes.


What We’re Looking For:

• Expertise in Agile Project Delivery (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SaFe).

• Strong experience in Application Lifecycle Management tools such as JIRA and DevOps.

• Proven success in leading complex change initiatives across business and technology.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Competence in project risk management, project staff leadership, and governance.

• Financial services or payments industry experience is highly desirable.
