Scientist - Cell Based Assays

Biotalent is collaborating with a pioneering biotech company in cancer immunotherapy, looking for a highly motivated and experienced biologist with strong cell based assay experience. This role requires a strong technical background, independence, and a collaborative spirit to advance novel drug discovery. The role is lab based with expectations to be in the office 5 days a week in their HQs in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Characterise key compounds and conduct MOA studies.
• Support preclinical studies in collaboration with CRO partners.
• Discover and validate biomarkers.
• Select and utilise appropriate cellular models.
• Review literature to identify technical solutions and support project progression.
• Collaborate within a matrix environment.
• Analyse and interpret experimental results using data analysis tools.
• Present scientific data to inform project strategy and decision-making.
• Maintain a high-standard electronic lab book.

Required Experience:

• PhD in Biological Sciences, preferably Cancer Cell Biology.
• Extensive experience in cell biology or working in a CRO/Biotech setting.
• Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and running cell-based assays.
