Class 1 Driver Based in THRAPSTON & ISLIP We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our clients Distribution Centre based in Thrapston as a Class 1 Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress in their career with a large scale haulage company. Class 1 Delivery Driver * 3 MONTHS CLASS 1 DRIVING EXPERIENCE NEEDED * Ongoing Friday to Tuesday shifts available * PM Start Times - Ideally between 16.00-22.00 Pay Rates are as follows: Weekdays Days (06:00 - 1600) - £16.31 - +holiday pay Afternoons (Apply online only)) - £17.94 +holiday pay Nights (2200 – 0600) - £19.57 + holiday pay Time & a Half after 45 hours Weekends Days (0600 – 1600) - £21.29 + holiday pay Afternoons (Apply online only)) - £23.32 + holiday pay Nights (2200 – 0600) - £23.52 * PM Starts Available. * Friday to Tuesday. You chose days available to work. * Ongoing work – Assessment required. Class 1 Delivery Driver Responsibilities * Store deliveries. * Unloading/loading - Boxes/rails. * Routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab. * Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure before driving. Essential Experience/ Qualities for this position * Great work ethic. * Minimum 2 years UK Class 1 driving experience. * Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card. * Comfortable with loading/unloading. * Be professional and presentable at all times. * Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances. * Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license. * No IN10, TT99 or DR10
