Warehouse operative (nights)

Our client is an established producer of high quality pet foods based in North Scarle, Lincoln and they currently have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join their team as soon as possible! The role will involve working a fixed night shift, Monday to Friday 22:00-06:00. The role will be temporary on going initially with a view to be offered a permanent contract depending upon performance. The pay rate for the role is £12.24 per hour. Duties of the role will include: - · Picking orders from a pick note · Ensuring all orders picked are correct and ready for dispatch · Load and unload trailers as specified by the load plan or delivery note · Ensure product is correct and free from damage or contamination · Storing all products in the correct area of the warehouse · Completing all corresponding paperwork as required and ensuring deliveries have been received via goods in log · Ensure the yard and surrounding sheds are clean and free from debris To be considered for the role you will need to have a background within manufacturing, preferably in food or FMCG and be available to start work as soon as possible. Please note it is not essential to have a Forklift Licence for this role however, we are looking for someone who is willing to train for this. It is also essential that candidates have their own transport due to the remote location of our client.
