Percival are excited to be working with The National Brain Appeal to help recruit for a new Events & Community Fundraising Manager to join their dedicated and enthusiastic Fundraising team.


The National Brain Appeal funds pioneering research, innovative treatments and world-class facilities to benefit patients with neurological and neuromuscular conditions. They support one of the world’s leading centres for the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with neurological and neuromuscular conditions. These include stroke, multiple sclerosis, brain cancer, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and dementia.


Report to: Director of Fundraising

Salary: £48,000

Working Pattern: Full Time or 0.8 Part-Time Equivalent, Permanent or Contract considered

Location: London, Hybrid (2 days per week in office)


As the Events and Community Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of fundraising events, community initiatives, and challenge fundraising activities. This role leads the strategic development of the charity's events programme and manages a dedicated team, focusing on innovative strategies to support the pioneering work of The National Brain Appeal.


To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a proven track record in managing large-scale fundraising events and community initiatives, including developing strategies to maximise income and engagement.
  • Have a successful track record of recruiting and stewarding event participants
  • Be skilled in developing innovative fundraising strategies to maximise income and increase supporter engagement across events and community initiatives.
