General Operative

Job Title: General Operative Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire, Old Dalby Salary: £11.44 - £11.44 Per hour

The Recruitmement Group are hiring for a number of General Operatives for a client of ours based in Great Dalby, due to the location own transport would be an advantage

Job Duties:

• Undertake general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and loading/unloading goods
• Operate machinery and equipment as required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Assist in stock control and inventory management
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Required Qualifications:

• No formal qualifications required
• Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately
• Good physical fitness and stamina
• Good Level of written & spoken English required

Education:

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications are advantageous but not essential

Experience:

• Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is desirable but not essential

Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic understanding of warehouse operations
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good communication skills

Working Conditions:

• Shift work may be required
• Exposure to a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
