They're seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to join their dynamic team and contribute creativity and passion to this kitchen. Job Overview: As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a diverse range of sushi dishes, from nigiri and sashimi to unique rolls. Working alongside a talented team in a fast-paced kitchen, you will ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. This role is ideal for someone with strong sushi-making skills looking to advance their career in a premium environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare sushi dishes to the highest standard, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls. Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation. Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu development and seasonal specials. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace. Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service. Required Skills & Experience: Proficient in sushi preparation, including nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls. Knowledge of Japanese ingredients, seasonality, and traditional techniques. Previous experience in a high-end dining environment, ideally Michelin or AA Rosette level. Attention to detail in plating and presentation. Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining high food quality. Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
