TEKLA CAD Draughtsman

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Senior CAD Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating detailed technical drawings and plans using TEKLA software. This role is essential in translating concepts and designs into precise schematics that will guide the construction and manufacturing processes. The Senior Draughtsman will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, project managers and client to ensure that all specifications are met accurately. Responsibilities - Develop detailed drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers or architects. - Utilise TEKLA software - Review and modify existing drawings to incorporate changes as necessary. - Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations. - Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and timelines. - Maintain organised records of all drafts and revisions for future reference. - Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports. - Work closely with the end client. Experience - Proven experience as a Draughtsman or in a similar role within the architectural or engineering field is preferred. - Proficiency in using TEKLA software is essential. - Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and best practices in drafting. - Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also managing individual tasks effectively.
