The portal offers a daily & weekly newsletter, a Supplier Directory Portal, and a platform for assessing new products and service providers.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Marketing Manager at Port Technology International. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans, managing digital campaigns, analysing market trends, overseeing content creation, and coordinating promotional activities to drive brand awareness and engagement.Main duties and responsibilities: Supporting the sales team to drive sponsorship revenue and delegate numbers/revenue through smart, creative and advanced lead generation marketing activitiesMeeting and exceeding marketing goals/targets, objectives and KPIs Creation, execution and fulfilment of innovative multi-channel, data and content driven marketing strategies and campaigns across the full annual event, publication and digital advertising portfolio.Management and mentoring of the Events Marketing Executive, including responsibility for performance and resource allocation Build and develop current social reach and influencer marketing footprint (sponsors, speakers, communities, associations, bloggers) Working effectively with other departments - sales, production, editorial, ops, web and design Knowledge, understanding and ability to select and segment data for highly targeted and personalised direct marketing campaigns and manage the GDPR process Maximising the full capabilities of Port Technology’s marketing automation system.QualificationsRelevant experience in B2B event marketing.Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, and Marketing Strategy skillsExperience in managing digital campaigns and analysing market trendsContent Creation and Copywriting skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and in a teamProficiency in marketing tools and platformsPrevious experience in the maritime industry is advantageous
