The role will entail the following;Ensure there are no customer operational failures due to equipment failurePerform systems analysis on various systems including S7 PLC, Profibus, ASi-Bus, EtherCat network. Log analysis on sorter controllersPerform diversified electrical and mechanical tasks including analytical troubleshooting, both in a planned and reactive environment.Ensure all PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales to a high standard.Identify problematic faults, rectify and monitor performance on a continual basis.Backup and restore PLCAbility to articulate detailed reportsMonitor Operational sorter performances and implementing of continuous improvement measures at customer requestSupport existing site based BEUMER Group CS ColleaguesSupport with project and facility management work.General customer support4 on 4 off shifts, days and nightsQualificationsQualificationsNVQ Level 3 or 4 Engineering/HNC Eng/HND Eng/ONC EngGood understanding and experience in a similar role with PLC, BHS, IT networks, distributed I/O systems and Knowledge of conducting sorter Health ChecksKnowledge of Automation Machinery i.e sortation and conveyor systemsKnowledge of Emergency Stop SystemKnowledge of Safety Supervision SystemWe don´t expect you to tick all the boxes as long as you have the attitude and motivation to join and to help us continue delivering top customer support.Additional InformationBEUMER Benefits- Pension Scheme- Enhanced paternity leave- Annual Personal Development Plan- Increased holiday with service
