Project Manager Life Science

They provide expert advice and knowledge in relation to clean room environments, biocontainment and laboratory set-up, providing a high level of service in order to support their clients achieve their goals with relation to establishing new laboratories and expanding existing ones. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit a Project Manager to join and lead part of their team.Responsibilities will include overseeing project operations within the life sciences sector by working with clients to understand their requirements relating to project builds. This will include pharmaceutical manufacturers, hospitals and universities. You will also look after a number of Project Associates and Administrators, assisting them in their daily work as well as carrying out training and operational responsibilities. You will play an important part in delivering successful campaigns to the company’s clients in relation to varied laboratory set up projects and you will be required to provide expert advice to assist clients in relation to GMP, healthcare, animal facilities and biocontainment.To be considered for the role you will hold a degree in a Life Science or Engineering discipline and ideally have a Business-related or project management qualification. Experience working in project management across Life Science / Pharma / Healthcare within a building, equipment, validation or new set-up focus is also imperative. Understanding of regulatory standards for laboratories and experience of managing a team is also necessary. Ideally you will have a technical/engineering background and have moved into a senior level role, overseeing design and construction projects involving establishment of new labs. You will be a highly motivated and versatile individual with a passion for Healthcare and Life Sciences with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects at once.
