Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Experts are seeking Mechanical Technicians to support our clients Rail project in Long Marston.
The Opportunity
You will be working on behalf of CAF Rail Services to provide essential modifications to the underframe of the trains, completing modifications to yaw dampers and braking systems.
Contract Length: 4 Months, inside IR35
Location (s): Long Marston
Key Role and Responsibilities
- Mechanical repairs
- Exterior repairs
- Modifications and repairs to yaw dampers
- Completing mechanical faults and testing if required
Essentials
- Strong mechanical understanding
- Flexible to work weekends, as may be required with project demands
- Enjoy working as part of a team
Desirables
- Commutable to Long Marston
- Rolling stock or light rail experience is highly desirable
- Experience within a HGV, Military or aviation background
