Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor £60,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience) Ilford Full-Time / Permanent We're on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team on a full-time and permanent basis. You will be responsible for cost estimation and control to ensure their projects exceed legal and quality standards. This pivotal position involves engagement in every phase of a project, therefore we are looking to hear from Quantity Surveyors with a minimum of five years experience. YOUR NEW ROLE * The role involves preparing internal commercial reports and other necessary documentation * Valuations and payment applications with supporting documents as per the contract, as well as cost reports for clients with all required supporting documentation * Preparation and oversight of subcontract and material procurement schedules * Management of subcontractor/supplier accounts, from detailed requisitions to the authorization of payments and final account agreements. * Contract administration, change management, and maintaining registers * Identifying commercial risks and opportunities, and implementing value engineering and change * Use of costing system - ensuring the regular preparation of internal commercial reports as required ABOUT YOU * Minimum of five years as a Senior Quantity Surveyor * Experienced within the construction sector and civil engineering sector * Commercial awareness/ background * Solid experience with NEC contract forms * Negotiation skills * Confident to present to clients * Hold a valid UK driving licence * Open to travel to sites as and when required (London and Home Counties) BENEFITS * Basic salary upto £75,000 (depending on experience) * Car Allowance * 31 days annual leave (inc BH) * Death in Service (4X salary) * Pension - (company 5% / employee 4%) Reference Number: I97P To be considered for this position or other opportunities, contact Tash Johnson at Equal Resourcing Ltd or click "Apply Now."
