Waking Night Support Worker

I am currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading providers of Education & Support to recruit a number of experienced and dedicated Waking Night Support Workers for a residential setting within a college setting supporting young people 16+ in Lancaster. The college & residential service supports individuals with a variety of profound and multiple learning difficulties, including working with young people who are non-verbal, have a hearing impairment, rely on or occasionally require the use of a wheelchair/hoist and have complex health and social care needs. Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment. Engage with the young people in meaningful activities to promote their well-being. Assist with personal care and medication management. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring effective communication with the daytime team. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for the young people. What you'll need to be successful as a Waking Night Support Worker: At least 3 months experience of working with young people or adults with learning disabilities in residential settings Experience within a similar care setting You must be comfortable supporting young people with personal care Basic Sign language or Makaton would be an advantage Interested?
