Transport Planner £40,000 - £50,000 Ballyclare Do you have experience in UK or Irish Transport Planning? Are you looking for a new role that offers autonomy and a great working environment? Working alongside the existing Transport team, you will be responsible for planning of full load, part load and groupage deliveries and collections across UK & Ireland. If have a good understanding of EU Tachograph Regulations, WTD and a great geographical knowledge of Ireland, this is a great opportunity to join a growing transport firm, that will develop their staff with long term career options. The Role: Plan daily work schedule and routing for drivers Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis Manage Driver & Vehicle scheduling Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies Work with the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure vehicles are maintained Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings on rotation You will need: Previous Transport Planning Experience Strong knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws & WTD Good geographical knowledge of Ireland Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties.
