Behaviour Support Worker Harrogate Full-time Term-time only 8:30am - 3:45pm (Monday - Friday)NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a School in Harrogate who are looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children with their social, emotional, and mental health and have strong behaviour management. Behaviour Support Worker roles and Responsibilities: Support the students with their learning and daily routines in both indoor and outdoor provisions. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing behaviour, promoting respect, ensuring the safety of all students and differentiating the deliverance of the learning. Support the student with their social, emotional and physical needs as well as help support them with their learning. Evaluate pupil progress through various assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey, both to the pupil, other staff and have good clear and concise communication with parents/carers. Behaviour Support Worker Non-Negotiables: Full-time availability and able to provide 2 professional references. Be comfortable with challenging behaviour and be able to navigate and manage children's behaviours. Have recent, and relevant experience working with children or those with additional needs. Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
