AVP - IT Risk

Are you passionate about IT risk management and emerging technologies? We are working with a leading financial services organisation to recruit a dynamic and driven AVP - IT Risk to play a pivotal role within their Technology Risk Management team.

Key Responsibilities: Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate Technology risks associated with IT projects and emerging technologies. Policy Compliance: Ensure IT project teams adhere to Technology policies, standards, and procedures to promote best risk management practices. Project Oversight: Provide risk oversight for IT projects, ensuring risk considerations are integrated into project planning and execution. Technology Risk Training: Embed a culture of risk awareness and ensure all relevant parties understand their roles in managing risk. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams and leadership to support the organisation's risk management goals and strategic objectives.

Key Requirements: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management and communication skills. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of Technology risk frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL) and a drive to deepen understanding in this area.
