D365 Business Central Developer

London - Hybrid 3 Days on site

Salary - 75k

You’ll serve as a subject matter expert for Business Central solutions at the configuration level as well as integrations with other systems.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Global Template Management & Improvement:

• Lead efforts to maintain the Global Template's integrity.
• Propose out-of-the-box solutions or sensible customizations to meet the business's evolving needs.
• Assist with the roll-out of Business Central

User Support:

• Respond to internal users’ questions via emails, Teams messages, or other communication channels.
• Manage and triage cases, ensuring proper routing of enhancement requests through the BC Change Management process.

Business Central Features & Functionalities:

• Stay up to date with new features and functionalities of Business Central.
• Recommend ways to maximize value and improve efficiency for Finance users by leveraging the latest capabilities.

Configuration & Development:

• Configure solutions on Business Central as needed.
• Collaborate closely with BC vendors and handle additional configuration or development tasks as assigned.

Documentation & Case Management:

• Create and maintain technical solution documentation.
• Communicate with external developers using case management tools like Jira and Service Desk Plus to manage development and issue resolution.

What this person should look like

• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Version 20 and above
• Full user management and workflows
• Experience in deploying different versions within BC
• Understanding of regional and global deployment
• Working Knowledge of SQL Database, VB Script, Java script, JSON
• Experience of Full Project Lifecycle
• Knowledge of integration architecture as well as third-party integration tools such as Mulesoft
• Experience in Finance, Audit and ITGC's eg Segregation of duty, change management, access control
• Experience of working with Microsoft Azzure
• Working knowledge of different file transfer solutions such as SFTP, API Integrations
• Understanding of code repository Github, GIT Kracken or similar tool
