Remote: £37,500-£39,500. Hybrid Greater London/South East England: £41,250-£43,450. Hybrid London: £43,875-£46,215. We are delighted to announce exciting opportunities for qualified clinicians to join our team as a Functional Assessor here at Ingeus UK, part of the global human services provider APM Group. Do you have 12+ months of UK-based post registration experience as an NMC registered nurse (RGN, RNLD, RMN) or HCPC registered paramedic, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist? From your first day, you'll join a welcoming and skilled team and be supported through specialist training delivered by our Learning Academy, which includes one-to-one coaching, mentoring and workshops to guide you towards achieving full DWP accreditation. As a Functional Assessor, your primary responsibilities will be: Conducting health and disability assessments to understand each persons unique needs. Assessing claimants ability to undertake activities of daily living pertaining to work, specifically in relation to physical and mental, cognitive, and intellectual functions (Work Capability Assessments - WCA) or, Their ability to undertake activities of daily living repeatedly and safely and investigate the impact of variability, chronic and multiple health issues (Personal Independence Payments - PIP). Preparing detailed reports and recommendations for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions Collaborating with colleagues to provide high-quality service to claimants and contribute to the continued improvement and service excellence of health assessment services in the UK. What we are looking for: At least 12-months post-registration experience gained in the UK as an NMC registered nurse or HCPC paramedic, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist in the UK. Experience treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions preferred.
