Business Development Manager

Sharpsmart Commercial team have an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join this fast paced high achieving sales team.As Business Development Manager you will develop purposeful relationships that drive sales of our Sharpsmart services; working within the NHS and private health sector focusing on targeted KDMs. You will work as part of a team on large projects to implement the Sharpsmart system across your territory.This role can be based from any location in England and will require regular travel to customer and Sharpsmart sites.Your role will involve:To maximise products sales by utilising a high level of product knowledge and selling skills.To interact with stakeholders to establish an informed knowledge of clinical data and the market.To create new business opportunities by investigating accounts and establishing relationships with relevant clinical and procurement stakeholderTo manage your territory by delivering strategic objectives into each of your targeted accounts, deliver impactful and actionable meetings and presentationsTo liaise with internal Field Service, Clinical Education and Internal Sales teams to meet your targetsIdentification of further upsell opportunities within healthcare waste management consultancy and clinical waste collection services.What we are looking for:Demonstrable success and proven experience in healthcare waste sales 3+ yearsProven experience of working with NHS and/or private healthcare stakeholder groups in a sales/development capacityGreat communication skills with the ability to effectively manage projectsAbility to prioritise and organise your own workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment whilst working with and supporting the wider teamAble to identify knowledge gaps and development potentialsExcellent problem solving and decision making skillsDriving licence and willingness to travel with overnight staysWhat we can offer:Competitive salary packageCompany carPensionHealthcare and Dental care optionsCaboodle benefits schemeTraining and developmentProgressionCompany events
