About the role: Teaching Assistant: We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a thriving and inclusive primary school in Enfield, and no prior experience is required. All we need is your enthusiasm and willingness to support children on their learning journey! As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to support children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them with classroom activities, lessons, and one-on-one support. You will also assist with SEN students, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed. Your role will involve working with a diverse group of pupils, helping them to grow academically and personally. No experience is required for this role, as the school offers excellent training and support. If you have transferable skills from other fields or experience working with children in informal settings, you’ll fit right in! You’ll also receive guidance and mentoring from experienced educators, helping you to build your confidence in the classroom. Key Responsibilities: • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons. • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, especially those with SEN needs. • Help manage classroom activities and encourage positive behavior. • Support pupils in developing their social and emotional skills. • Contribute to a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.
