Production Team Leader

Production Team Leader (Shift) Mintlaw £13.24 per hour (£29,260.40 per annum) + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Saturday overtime paid at 1.5x + Life Assurance + Great Opportunity for Progression and Career Development Monday to Friday, 3pm to 12am. Overtime on Saturdays during busier periods will be required. Production Team Leader required for a well-established FMCG manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to join a stable employer with opportunity for overtime available at premium rates. The Successful Production Team Leader will have previous leadership experience from within a production or manufacturing environment, preferably within food manufacturing, although any high volume industry will be considered. Preferably hold an SVQ level 2 or equivalent in food processing/ handling skills, although those without will be considered. The Production Team Leader role: * Give timely and accurate advice, guidance, support to team members. * Monitor team members' participation, recognizing individual’s contribution and enthusiasm. * Identify any relevant staff training needs. * Ensure any training provided is being put into use, and to see if any additional training is needed. * Match best suited team members to tasks to achieve department objectives and KPI targets.
